What is the minimum age requirement for doing Cave Tubing?

There is no minimum age requirement, there is a minimum height requirement! All cave tubing participants must be at least 40 inches in height!

What footwear is appropriate for cave tubing?

Sandals or flip flops are not recommended. It is best to use tennis shoes or water shoes. Don’t worry water shoes and crocks are available for rent on site.

How many people can be in a group?

There is no restriction on group size. From 2 guests to hundreds. There is however a restriction on the number of guests that a guide can take. The ratio is 1 guide to 8 guests (by law). That being said if you have a group of 10 it is mandatory that 2 tour guides take your group!

Where is Belize Cave Tubing done?

Belize is home to many cave systems, however Belize Cave Tubing is done at the Nohoch Che’en Archaeological Reserve.

Where far a drive is the cave tubing site from Belize City?

Nohoch Che’en Archaeological Reserve is a short 1 hour drive (depending on traffic) from Belize City.

Is Belize Cave Tubing available year round?

Yes it is! This amazing adventure tour is available year round. However please keep in mind that whenever there is heavy rainfall in the mountains the river oftentimes flood. The cave system is prone to flash floods and is closed by NICH (National Institute for Culture and History) who managers the park.

Are there bathroom facilities on site?

Yes there are. Well maintained and cleaned bathrooms for him and her are available.

Is there security a the cave tubing park?

Yes! Security is provided by NICH who manger the park as well as the Belize Police Department.

Can i go cave tubing on my own?

NO! you must be accompanied by a licensed Belize Tour Guide

What is the weight requirements for Zipline?

The maximum weight is 300 lbs that we have taken on tour.
